OUTCOMES

From media signal to business action.

Three ways MediaClip changes the way your team works — from being surprised by yesterday's coverage to briefing the boardroom tomorrow.

01 — KNOW SOONER

Detect issues before they escalate.

Threshold, spike and sentiment-shift alerts route to the right desk in minutes — not tomorrow's clippings. Emerging risks flagged before your board asks.

02 — UNDERSTAND WHY

See what's driving the conversation.

Every mention captured for your monitoring profile is classified by sentiment, intent, source and language. Dashboards show the outlets, narratives, competitors and people shaping your brand story.

03 — ACT WITH CONFIDENCE

Brief the boardroom on Monday.

Weekly executive briefs draft themselves. Analyst reviews. You sign off. Board reads Monday morning — with the "one thing that changed" flagged up front.

MEDIACLIP SIGNAL ENGINE

How coverage becomes action.

The Signal Engine sits between raw coverage and your team — structuring every mention by language, sentiment, topic, urgency and business intent so you act on signal, not volume.

01

Collect

Print, radio, television, digital news and public social — continuously indexed as coverage lands.

02

Understand

Language, sentiment, topic and intent classified for every mention — English, Setswana and code-switched content.

03

Prioritise

Risk, Purchase, Cancel or Service — with operational vs reputational sentiment split so the right desk gets the right signal.

04

Act

Delivered where your team works — real-time dashboards, email alerts and scheduled executive briefs, with dedicated analyst support on higher tiers.

THE AI BEHIND MEDIACLIP

Three pieces of intelligence, working behind every mention.

MediaClip is AI-powered. The models are trained on Botswana media — not adapted from generic global data — which is why we see what other platforms miss.

AI

Setswana-fluent NLP

Sentiment, intent and tone classification tuned on Setswana, English and the way Batswana actually code-switch across print, radio and social. Generic global tools tend to underperform on Botswana-specific Setswana — MediaClip pairs locally tuned language models with human quality review so the Setswana layer is not lost.

AI

Pattern detection on captured coverage

Anomaly detection on volume, sentiment and cross-industry patterns across the mentions we've captured for your monitoring profile — flagging the story that needs your attention before it becomes the story that finds you.

AI

Ad-library & creative analysis

Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency and paid-social ingestion — configured per client — with competitor creative parsed, tagged and surfaced to your team as it goes live on the supported platforms.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Things people ask before they sign.

Relevant print, radio, broadcast television, digital news portals, and public social conversations across supported networks. The specific source list is confirmed during onboarding and depends on outlet availability, licensing terms and platform API policies. Update frequency and coverage windows are disclosed per source in your service documentation.
Every mention is auto-classified by our Signal Engine against a four-way intent taxonomy — Risk, Purchase, Cancel, Service (RPCS) — plus sentiment (positive / negative / neutral) and sentiment type (operational vs reputational). Threshold alerts route each signal to the right desk.
Set thresholds on volume, sentiment, source, or intent. When those thresholds are crossed, MediaClip notifies your team via email and the dashboard — routed by severity and by team. Each alert carries the source clip and the classification reason. WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams delivery are planned for a future release.
Client data is handled in line with Botswana's Data Protection Act 2024 (Act 18 of 2024). Access is role-based, transmission is encrypted, and every enterprise engagement is covered by a Data Processing Agreement specifying retention, subcontractors, incident response and account deletion. Data residency options are configurable per client. Full security documentation is available on request.
Most clients see their first mentions in the dashboard within 48 hours of the onboarding call. A full working dashboard — with alerts routed and the first weekly report scheduled — is typically live within the first week. Historic backfill on request.
We offer a free five-day brand snapshot instead of a generic software trial: we run monitoring on your brand across supported channels for five days, then share the findings with an analyst walk-through. It's a better test of value than a self-service trial, and it costs you nothing to try.
